Ornatum Lac
"Ornatum Lac" - Latin for "decorated milk" - perfectly encapsulates the essence of this captivating design. Like gilded embellishments floating atop a serene sea of cream, intricate golden motifs dance across a milky canvas, creating a visual feast of elegance and grace.
The design marries the opulence of Art Deco with the fluidity of organic forms. Delicate golden tendrils and bold, sweeping plumes unfurl across the alabaster backdrop, their metallic sheen catching the light and eye alike. These gilt embellishments, reminiscent of stylized feathers or ferns, create a mesmerizing interplay of positive and negative space.
True to its Latin name, the milky background serves as a sumptuous foundation, allowing the ornate golden elements to shine. The contrast between the rich, warm gold and the cool, creamy white evokes images of precious metalwork adorning fine porcelain or intricate filigree floating on the surface of luxurious cream.
This "Ornatum Lac" design masterfully balances structure with whimsy, tempering Art Deco's typically rigid geometries into something more organic and free-flowing. The result is a harmonious composition that whispers of timeless sophistication, vintage glamour, and refined taste.

Technology
We use Epson’s high-performance dye-sublimation heat transfer printers SureColor F6370 with 1440 x 720 dpi resolution. Printers use environmentally friendly ink which has no hazardous reactions, is chemically stable, and does not contain carcinogens or reproductive and developmental toxicity. Glasses are coated with a polymer which makes them dye receptive. Printed artwork with the dye-sublimation inks on the special transfer paper is transferred on the glass under high temperatures. The process infuses the printed dye into the polymer coating of the blank. The image becomes part of the glass creating a very durable and long-lasting image.
